Jolene Russell

Jolene began street painting in 2001 in San Rafael, California, and has since participated in festivals across the country. She loves chalking portraits and working with the rich colors that chalk pastels provide.

In 2008, Jolene graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a BFA in Fine Art with an emphasis in painting and drawing. She works in a variety of mediums including acrylic, oil paints, chalk pastel, charcoal, graphite, and ink. In 2013, the East Bay Express voted Jolene "Best Artist" in their Bast of the East Bay issue! She currently works as a full-time artist in Sacramento, California.
